CAN YOU HELP?

St Margaret Church is seeking to reach out to the youth in the village and surrounding parishes. Yet we do not have members who are qualified in providing creative activities for those aged between 7-15yrs. Could this be you? Would you be willing to commit to one night a week during term time?  Please contact us for a chat and to discuss opportunities without any obligation.

St Margaret Church family and volunteers,  always encourage young people to become involved more with the churches.  Ormesby St Margaret has a Toddler session every Wednesday called “Tigger Time” in the Ormesby Village Centre. All are welcome to attend for fun and activities. 0 yrs to school-age

Throughout the year we hold many services where children are very involved. These include Mothering Sunday, Harvest, Remembrance Sunday, The Christingle Service and of course the Crib Service / Nativity Play on Christmas Eve at 4pm.

Children are welcome to all our services, and where it is Holy Communion, if not confirmed are invited to come forward for a Blessing.

Mark 10:13-14 says, “People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

There is also a Brownies group in the village, which is supported by St Margaret and St Michael churches.
